What to post

On-topic (what we look for):

Things that spark curiosity for people who build, create or explore. Not limited to startups or hacking: it can be discoveries, learnings, experiments, tools, research, stories or phenomena that make you think: "wow, this opens my mind".

Off-topic (what doesn't fit):

Celebrity gossip, partisan politics, crime or sports unless they reveal something truly new. Also no easy memes, cute animals, or the same content already on mainstream portals.

About posts

  • Clear and sober titles. Avoid ALL CAPS, exclamation spam or “must read!”. Content is what matters.
  • Original source. If you saw it elsewhere, link the original.
  • Self-promo, in moderation. It's fine to show your own work, but don't abuse it. Curiosity over spam.
  • No marketing fluff. If a title says “10 magic ways to X”, change it to “How to X”. Use numbers only if they truly matter.
  • Respect original titles. Only change it if it's misleading or blatant clickbait.
  • Special formats. If you link a PDF or video, add [pdf] or [video] in the title.
  • No reposts. If something shouldn't have been posted, delete and move on.
  • No vote or comment begging. People participate because they care, not for favors.
  • Questions or suggestions. Email us at contacto@shemfund.com, don’t open a post just for that.

About comments

  • Be kind. Thoughtful critique is gold; cheap sarcasm is not.
  • The hotter the topic, the higher the bar for quality discussion.
  • Debate ideas, not people. Example: instead of “that’s dumb”, say “1+1=2, not 3”.
  • Assume good faith. Respond to the strongest interpretation, not the weakest.
  • No flamewars. Avoid baiting, clichés, or derailing.
  • Build. A good comment leaves something learned, not just “meh”.
  • This isn’t for ideological wars. We’re here to learn and explore.
  • Formatting: use emphasis instead of ALL CAPS.
  • Don’t feed the troll. If you see spam or toxicity, flag and move on.
  • No meta-votes or trivial format comments. It adds nothing.
  • Identity. Anonymous is okay for sensitive topics, but normally it helps to have a user people can connect with.

DAO governance

  • Proposals. Funding proposals are created as threads. Clearly state scope, budget and milestones.
  • Voting. Community votes determine allocation per round. One account, one vote (subject to anti‑sybil checks).
  • Treasury. Grants are paid from the DAO treasury in crypto (primarily Solana).
  • Accountability. Winners must post brief updates; future eligibility depends on follow‑through.
